I'm an SETC affiliate for IRSPlus. My client I put through to IRSPlus to file their SETC paid IRSPlus their full fee in May 2025 after receiving her check. I continue to chase IRSPlus for my affiliate commission sending almost weekly emails to support, billing, and Orlando, a name given by an admin who answered their phone. Aside from their auto notification that my email and ticket were received, there has been NO reply. IRSPlus uses liability insurance provided by Berkshire Hathaway (Warren Buffet) to cover claims related to professional services, surely they can pay their affiliates for bringing in a client?
Stay away from these people. Irsplus tried to rip us off. I looked into their background and found out the owner is a criminal and has been caught engaging in fraud? Not smart to trust convicts with your money. Dont take my word for it you can google it yourself to see his record and jail time. Crazy people like this are doing business. They sent us a contract that we sent to our attorneys who practically broke out in laughter at how scammy and one sided it was. Clearly not written by a real attorney, as it was riddled with typos and grammatical errors and even sent it back to them asking for these things to be fixed and the one sided language to be removed for a more fair arrangement. They refused to change a thing, so we walked away. Spoke to a guy named Andrew, but that’s not his real name. Be careful out there people. Very shady.
Some guy named Orlando called from Irsplus aggressively demanding I sign his agreement for speeding up our erc. Me and my spouse discussed it and decided not to as he was going to take another 10% of our erc money and take all of our earned interest from the irs too!!! He was practically yelling at and threatening us on the phone that he would call the irs and cancel our erc if we didn’t sign and he’d put a lien on us. What a jerk! Rude and aggressive doesn’t begin to describe his attitude. Will never do business with people like this. Terrible business practices.
