Scooter i8, after first ride, less than 10klm, started a noise in the front wheel and the charger or the do not function as it should be. The quality is very poor. 3 weeks now trying to send it back as a defective product, but they do not accept it, for a free return. They offered me 80€ to resolve the issues and to keep the product. But I don't trust the company neither the product. WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT, when I will start to use it every day as I was planning to.?!I am sorry, but you have to read the comments on Reddit, before to buy.
After 1700 km of using the iScooter iX3, I’ve noticed several serious issues. The stock tires are very low quality: the tread wears out quickly and the inner tubes fail often. The spare tube included in the box has a longer angled valve stem that constantly hits metal parts while riding, creating an annoying knocking sound. The rear fender is loose and keeps hitting the deck, producing noise. The suspension quickly loses effectiveness and becomes stiff. The brakes require adjustment too frequently and lose performance within just 2–3 weeks. After around 1000 km, a noticeable play appeared in the steering column, and simply tightening the bolts does not fix it. The mobile app is almost useless, with very few functions and a poor design. Overall, the scooter’s construction needs significant improvements, as these issues directly affect comfort and long-term reliability.
I have ordered a i9max from iScooter.One month later the error code E06 started to show up. After a long writing to its service, they provided me with a new instrument board to change. I canged it, but the problem is still there. If you turn the lights on, the E06 error show up immediately. Turn off the lights, turn off the scooter, turn it on again - and no error. So either E06, or you dashboard working. And the answer from client service is hilarious:"If other functions do not affect normal use, we hope you can ignore this error."Basically, "we sold you some crap, but just ignore it". Thank you!UPD. As I have been reminded of that... 18 months later, NO ONE could find out where lies the problem. BTW, every app shows incorrect battery size of 15Ah. And never EVER it has reached anything close to a 35km mileage. Its best was 22km, very slow speed, a light rider and basically flat ground. P.S. iScooter is iScooter. Should WE pay for its non-existent quality? You are not happy with my "criticism"? Change the brand, and stop selling garbage.
