Company does not follow through on warranty!

My 13 year old son purchased this to go to his friends last summer. He rode it for approximately 4 months and it stopped running. We worked through finding the cause with the company which went well. It ended up being the control module in the handle that had obvious corrosion on it. The iscooter told us it occasionally happens from the factory and they know about the issue. They told us they would send us a replacement part but that they were on back order. After approximately 6 weeks we emailed them for an update. They said they did not have the parts yet but could give us a 15% discount on a new scooter. This was obviously not what we wanted so we said we would wait until the part came in. We checked in several weeks later again and they told us they would not be able to replace the part and could only offer us the 15% discount. This was obviously unsatisfactory to us.My son loved this scooter when it worked but I would not suggest buying it due to durability issues and lack of warranty/customer service. When troubleshooting the issue the were very responsive but obviously the company does not warranty their product despite what the website suggests.
