I enrolled in a program with ISSA and decided to withdraw within the first week after realizing it wasn’t the right fit for me. Unfortunately, I was told that according to their policy, I am still required to continue paying for the full program - even though I am not studying and not using any of their services.
I understand that companies have contracts, but a policy that makes it nearly impossible to cancel shortly after enrolling feels unreasonable and unfair. Life circumstances change, and people should have a realistic option to step away without being locked into long-term payments for something they are not using.
What’s most disappointing is that this experience has discouraged me from trying new educational programs in the future. Instead of feeling supported, I feel trapped by fine print and rigid policies.
If you are considering enrolling, make absolutely sure you are 100% certain before signing up. Read every detail of the contract carefully and understand that changing your mind may not be an option.
