If you're a person of color, be cautious of potential racism and profiling here. While seated with other transit passengers, security staff approached us for our passports without any valid reason. We were not going through customs or security, just transiting. This is not the first instance of racial profiling I've experienced at this airport. The environment feels overly authoritarian and unpleasant.
