I truly don’t understand how the Jane App has such positive reviews. Perhaps the reviews are from practitioners and not end-users. This is an end-user review: Jane’s user experience falls apart at the most basic level: logging in. As a patient who uses multiple practitioners on the platform, I’m forced to manage a separate password for each one - all with different requirements. The result is constant password resets, wasted time, and unnecessary frustration.There is no reason users shouldn’t be able to log in once to a centralized Jane account and navigate between practitioners from there. This is a solved problem in modern software, yet Jane somehow makes it harder the more you use it.The design feels outdated - and with modern designs on iPhone like passkey, it makes it even more complicated because passkey registers Jane as one platform (as it should be) not a separate one for each practioner. So passkey fails. Security should not come at the expense of usability, and right now Jane fails badly on both fronts.
