I purchased 2 expensive JBL EON ONE Compact professional battery pack powered blue tooth speakers that were not yet ready for prime time! These speakers intrigued me because of the JBL reputation for a highly rated quality product. I was looking for a battery pack powered Blue-Tooth speakers that I could easily carry around in the back yard, or on the SXS, or on the pontoon boat that sounded great. I usually buy EV products, but these speakers were a little cheaper than EV's version of them and highly rated by JBL, so I purchased them. What a huge costly waste of $1,280.00!! From the get-go these speakers were a major pain to set up. If I could get them paired up in stereo with the JBL app on my Android which was exclusive to the speakers it would usually take at least 45 very frustrating minutes. If I finally was able to get them set up they are a very nice sounding speaker. Then e few months later JBL had this major update to the firmware to switch them over to their JBL Professional app. And the process just seemed really complicated and I am a member of a JBL EON ONE COMPACT group on Facebook and many members were having really bad problems with the speakers after switching them over. I did not want to attempt it, so I didn't. I asked JBL to buy these speakers back or give me a JBL PartyBox 1000 speaker in exchange which I already have one of and absolutely love! I purchased it after having such a bad time with the JBL EON Ones. I tried to sale them online and couldn't even get an offer of half of what I paid for them and still owed more than that on. So now I have just settled on using them hard line in wired for Laptop speakers in my office. I would never recommend them to anyone!!
