I am writing this to warn others about the ongoing state of JD Gyms Glasgow South. Once again, there are no changing facilities or showers available, a problem that has become far too common at this branch.
The most frustrating part is that management is non-existent. There is nobody on-site to address these recurring issues or provide a timeline for repairs. As a paying member, being unable to wash or change after a workout is unacceptable.
Under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, businesses have a duty of care to provide a safe and hygienic environment. If these basic welfare standards aren't met and the facilities remain out of order, I will be formally reporting this branch to Glasgow City Council’s Environmental Health department.
Fix the facilities and get some visible management on the floor, or you will lose your members.
