Also good to see lots of senior citizens having breakfast using it as a meeting place.

Disappointing Gourmet Burger Tuesday Deal

The Gourmet Burger Tuesday deal at this location is not worth it. The service was incredibly slow, taking about 10 minutes, which seemed insufficient for the food to properly thaw. The chips were undercooked, and the onion rings were soggy, with only 4 served instead of the 6 that were promised. The burger was decent, which is why I gave it 2 stars instead of just one. The beef brisket topping was more like soup, making it necessary to use a knife and fork, as the bun was also soggy—having a spoon would have been useful. While I enjoyed the small plates deal on Monday and the curry deal on Thursday, I would recommend avoiding the Tuesday and Wednesday pizza deals.

The food was cold when it arrived at table 117. We frequently dine here, but this time the meal was disappointing; I ordered a classic burger, which was cold, along with lukewarm fries. I am quite dissatisfied with this experience. Truly unacceptable.

Disappointing experience at a local establishment

I had a disappointing experience at a local establishment in Halesowen. After placing my order, the app failed to confirm it and instead directed me back to enter my banking details again. Assuming my order hadn’t gone through, I went to the bar to reorder. Just two minutes after sitting down with my drink, another drink arrived, revealing that my order had actually gone through twice. After a lengthy discussion with the bar staff and the manager, I requested a refund, only to be told that I needed to process it through the app. This was particularly upsetting as I was there to meet a friend for a Christmas meal, which was ultimately ruined. The manager was unhelpful, and the bar staff agreed that I should have received a refund. The app was equally frustrating, asking for information I didn’t have, like a receipt number that I never received since my order didn’t go through. The manager didn’t inform me of any additional requirements. The representative I communicated with through the app said the manager should have issued a refund on-site, but then ceased communication, leaving me in the dark. It feels like a way for the establishment to profit from complaints, as they seemed reluctant to refund my money. I felt completely taken advantage of. This kind of service raises concerns about how they handle customer complaints.

Unacceptable Treatment During a Difficult Situation

I felt completely humiliated when my son, who is autistic, was just being himself, and I was instructed to put him in his pram. Meanwhile, I was not receiving any food or drink. I hope one day, when you have children, you will comprehend how hurtful this behavior is.

Hot chocolate experience.

I usually enjoy the food here, as my friend and I visit every Wednesday. However, the policy change regarding hot chocolate refills has been disappointing. My friend, who doesn't drink tea or coffee, can only have one hot chocolate from a sachet provided at the bar. I inquired about getting another refill like tea and coffee, as the menu states that hot chocolate is refillable, but was informed that each sachet incurs an extra charge. Just wanted to share this for awareness.

Unpleasant experience.

I felt absolutely terrible when my autistic son was running around, and I was told to put him in his pram while we weren't being served food or drinks. I hope that one day, if you have children, you'll understand how distressing this can be. Truly disappointing behavior.

Disappointing service.

Visited a local establishment and waited half an hour for drinks that never arrived, forcing us to retrieve them ourselves. An hour after ordering, I was informed they couldn't prepare my pizza, so I opted for a jacket potato instead. After an hour and a half, it still hadn't arrived, and upon inquiry, we learned it hadn't even been made. I've been told a refund is coming, so fingers crossed!
