We were given a very warm welcome at Gatwick Airport – both the ground staff and the flight crew were excellent and made a great first impression.
However, there were a few issues that affected our stay. When booking, we selected a holiday for a family of four (two adults and two children), but we were allocated a standard room. Unfortunately, the room was far too small, with barely enough space to move around comfortably, which made our stay quite cramped.
The hotel later informed us that larger family rooms were available, so it was disappointing that we were not offered one from the start.
Additionally, the adult water slides were not working, and the children’s splash park was also out of service during our stay. This was particularly frustrating, as the promotional materials indicated that these facilities would be heated and fully operational.
Aside from these points, everything else went smoothly.
