The Chickenjoy truly lives up to the hype, being incredibly crispy and juicier than what you usually find at other fast-food places. The peach mango pie is a standout. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 due to slower service and slightly higher prices, but considering the quality of the food, it's definitely worth it. I would certainly return for the chicken, just perhaps not when I'm in a hurry.
It took more than three hours for my order to arrive, and in the end, the service canceled it. This happened at a location in Newcastle, and it completely ruined my birthday! I received no compensation, and when I called to inquire about my order, the staff were very rude, telling me to just ask the service!
At a location in Nottingham, I placed a simple order, which should have been straightforward. However, the staff kept asking me questions that I couldn't understand, so I just said yes to everything. I got my food and ate it, but it was too much effort to communicate properly. I won’t be returning.
I want to address the lack of security at a location in Earl's Court. There have been incidents of theft targeting customers. My phone was almost stolen while I was eating, but thankfully, someone intervened. I also witnessed another customer become hysterical after her bag was taken, and no staff attended to her. These incidents occurred during busy hours, and I urge management to take customer safety seriously by hiring security, especially during peak times. The slow food preparation also adds to this concern as it creates a chaotic environment that attracts thieves.
I've visited a location in Earl's Court three times, and each time I waited at least 30 minutes for my food. It's very slow, and ordering through the machine is challenging. Even when I offered to pay with cash, I still had to order from the machine. I won’t be returning anytime soon.
It seems they don't allow entry for those under 19. I’m unsure what's happening, but it feels like they're heading for bankruptcy. I tried calling for clarification, but the number isn’t recognized. How unprofessional can a business be?
