I purchased 2 Timex watches from this company without issue. They arrived in good time and I was pleased with my purchases. However, I purchased a third Timex watch that doesn’t work as expected. The second hand that moves around the dial (60 times in 1 minute) fails to align with any of the markers on the dial.I raised this issue with Joom (using their very slow to respond chat facility) on the 4th Aug and after many messages back and forth, it has taken almost 2 weeks for them to say that they don’t accept that this is a fault.I was required to send video evidence of the watch ticking, which I did. Their chat page failed to upload this video many times . When I finally was able to upload a video, they then responded by saying that I need to video both sides of the watch including serial number etc. Each time it would take a couple of days before I got a response. The 14 days return window (for non faulty goods) had now expired. However, because the watch was faulty, I was sure that I would be ok to return (within 30 days). As mentioned, they refused to accept that the item was faulty, even though the 2 previously purchased watches did not have this issue. They eventually said that I could return the watch, but at my own expense. This would cost me more than £26.00. The watch cost £84.00. I have concluded that Joom deliberately makes it too difficult to return items (despite what their website says). My advice is to avoid purchasing anything from Joom as their return policy means nothing. They don’t want to deal with any returns. You have been warned.
