Joom is yet another overseas website selling throwaway products that we probably shouldn't be buying. I ordered a pair of sheer voile curtains with a dragonfly design and a black leather style handbag. When they arrived, the bag was cheaply made with misaligned seams and a hanging threads. But the real problem was the curtains. Rather than a sheer, delicate fabric featuring the intricate design shown on the picture. I was sent a heavy, thick, opaque material whose design look like it could have been drawn by a child. Naturally, I requested a refund and the customer service based in Latvia had their fun making me jump through a variety of hoops - sending a myriad out of pictures - presumably hoping that I would tire of this before they did. Finally, they asked for a picture of me donating the item to charity before they would refund me - so I sent pictures of it being posted in a salvation army donation bin - with great sympathy for the poor individuals who would retrieve it the next day. I'm actually kind of glad it happened ultimately, it's a good reminder to stop spending my hard-earned cash on worthless junk that's being shipped from halfway around the world.
