I ordered a pair of shoes on this site. Unfortunately I entered the wrong size. Emailed Joom who advised I could return the shoes to the Polish supplier for a refund. They asked me to send images of the shoes as delivered and as repacked ready for posting. This was to be at my own expense and they advised I should send the package by registered post. Again, unfortunately, the girl in the post office didn’t hear me properly and issued a standard postage which was still almost 20% of the value of the shoes. All interaction was positive, or so I thought!I immediately ordered a second pair of shoes and they arrived in about 2 weeks. I have never received my refund and Joom say they did not receive a confirmation of receipt from the Polish vendor. It’s now 5 months later and the most they said they could do was provide me with the contact details for the Vendor so I could verify the truth of what they were saying. Before that I had searched out an email for the vendor and I emailed them directly. No response. Joom did warn me to register the return. However, the vendor sent me two parcels which arrived safely but my return, somehow fell foul of the Polish or some other postal intermediary en- Route. To say I’m unhappy is an understatement. I can’t say it’s Joom or anybody else’s fault but I can say I’ll not be shopping with Joom ever again. PEvery other shopping channel offers some form of protection. Wish and Temu for example.
