In-store order issues

I would rate lower if possible. I ordered shoes at a local store and was told they were in stock and would ship in 5-7 days. That was about three weeks ago, and I received an email last Friday stating that my order was canceled without any explanation. They mentioned a refund would be processed immediately. However, when I called, I was informed it was backordered with no expected delivery date. This was after the store staff assured me there were no issues at the time of my order. Now, three weeks later, I still haven't received my refund and can't get through despite multiple calls. I've also emailed them, but it seems like this might take a long time to resolve. I'm very disappointed!
