I bought a Joyor scooter from joyor-escooter.com for delivery to Denmark in July 2025. The scooter itself works well, but the buying process was misleading.Joyor runs two separate websites: • joyorscooter.com – operated by Joyor E-Moving S.L. in Spain, clearly states prices include Spanish VAT. • joyor-escooter.com – the one I used, appears to be operated from China, does not list a VAT number, and does not say VAT is included.Both sell the same scooters, but the EU site is about €100-150 more expensive (likely due to VAT). On joyor-escooter.com, no VAT is charged, and no valid EU VAT invoice can be issued. This is not made clear before purchase. My order was shipped from an EU warehouse (Germany), which avoided import fees, but it still wasn’t an EU VAT-compliant sale.Customer service is slow and vague. When I asked for clarity on VAT for Denmark or the EU, they confirmed they are not VAT registered but stopped replying to follow-up questions. They also offered a “gift” in exchange for a 5-star review, which I find unethical.
