I drove there on Tuesday last week and found the assistance really unhelpful. Wanted some Knox gloves and AA rated jeans. Had already found my size of gloves I wanted, by the time the assistant came over, and I needed help with getting the right size jeans. Out of all the racks of jeans, he asked my size and selected one pair of Frank Thomas which were too long in the leg and the armour was below the knees. He then said they're all the same so we don't have any. I got the message he just couldn't be bothered, so walked out without anything. I remember about 3 years ago needing bike leathers and going to sportsbikeshop. The first pair of leathers I tried on were similar, but the assistant got several different makes to try on and I did find some that fitted great, despite all allegedly being ' the same size'. I don't recommend J&S Birmingham to anyone.
