On 06/02/2023, I used Jupay to transfer $100 from USA to Ghana. After Jupay successfully debited my account the recipient never received the money. I contacted Jupay to credit my account. Jupay asked me to initiate a refund using the Jupay App. I told Jupay that the Jupay App does not have a refund option. Jupay sent me a message stating it would take 24 to 72 working hours to refund my money. I said thank you but you have lost my business. Today is 06/11/2023, and I still have not received my refund back. I have contacted Jupay at 619-452-1673 and Rob at 415-949-4860 and nothing has been done. Rob kept saying they use a third party to process their transaction that's why it is being delayed. That is none of my business. Jupay asked me for my bank statement saying they have refunded the money. I asked Jupay to provide proof of refund from their end. There is no way I will give my bank statement to Jupay. By the way, I have filed a report today with FTC. I am not done yet, whatever, I have to do to prevent this from happening to people in my community I will do that. Please Please Ghanaian community beware. Another thing I found, the quoted exchange rate is not what is given to you at the time of processing. I asked Rob about it and he said that, they found out the system is not updating. What is not updating? Excuse me. I like to support my fellow Ghanaians doing business and I want to see more of us having our own businesses. But I will not support any bad business practice.
