2 Years of Fraud & Harassment by Just Dial India Limited – A Warning to the Corporate Community
I am writing this post to share a harrowing experience I’ve had with Just Dial India Limited (@JustDial). What started as a misleading sales pitch has turned into 2 years of financial loss and mental harassment.
The Scam: Two years ago, a Just Dial representative convinced me to pay ₹39,000 via credit card, promising a "one-month trial" with a full refund guarantee if I wasn't satisfied. Instead, they processed a huge transaction without my full consent on the final terms and refused to refund a single penny.
The Aftermath:
Lack of Support: When I reached out, the local management used their influence to suppress my complaints.
Ongoing Harassment: Even after 2 years of stopping all services, I receive harassing calls every single day from their team.
Data Privacy Violation: Despite multiple requests, they refuse to delete my data from their database, violating my right to privacy.
System Failure: My complaints on the National Consumer Helpline were repeatedly closed without any resolution or even a confirmation call.
I am sharing this to warn other business owners and individuals. If a company like Just Dial can scam a common person and then harass them for years, where is the corporate ethics?
I demand an immediate stop to these harassment calls and the permanent deletion of my data.
