2 Years of Fraud & Harassment by Just Dial India Limited – A Warning to the Corporate Community
I am writing this post to share a harrowing experience I’ve had with Just Dial India Limited (@JustDial). What started as a misleading sales pitch has turned into 2 years of financial loss and mental harassment.
The Scam: Two years ago, a Just Dial representative convinced me to pay ₹39,000 via credit card, promising a "one-month trial" with a full refund guarantee if I wasn't satisfied. Instead, they processed a huge transaction without my full consent on the final terms and refused to refund a single penny.
The Aftermath:
Lack of Support: When I reached out, the local management used their influence to suppress my complaints.
Ongoing Harassment: Even after 2 years of stopping all services, I receive harassing calls every single day from their team.
Data Privacy Violation: Despite multiple requests, they refuse to delete my data from their database, violating my right to privacy.
System Failure: My complaints on the National Consumer Helpline were repeatedly closed without any resolution or even a confirmation call.
I am sharing this to warn other business owners and individuals. If a company like Just Dial can scam a common person and then harass them for years, where is the corporate ethics?
I demand an immediate stop to these harassment calls and the permanent deletion of my data.

Running Godavari Auto Power Systems means handling installations and service calls daily. Enquiries now come in regularly through Justdial. With them I'm getting 30%–40% growth and bringing in about 5–6 enquiries every day.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The agents are not to be trusted, as they will only mislead you. I had a package, and the representative provided false information. After taking my payment, they set my account on autopay without my consent. When I requested to cancel the services and remove the autopay, they assured me it would be done, yet the following month, the amount was still deducted from my account. I have been trying to reach out for assistance, but the support team has been unresponsive. This company is incredibly untrustworthy. I repeat, DO NOT TRUST THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
This is the only platform that provides accurate customer numbers. I've been using it for the past four years. I've tried Instagram, Google Ads, Airbnb, and many other platforms, but only through this service have I gained converted clients. It's the ideal platform for any business owner since it allows direct communication with clients. Thank you!
The company does not offer straightforward and transparent methods for canceling the contract. Instead, they seem focused on keeping you bound to their long-term agreement, which lasts for an astonishing 50 years! While the business aspect is somewhat acceptable and they do attract some customers, the value may not justify the cost.
Worst Fraudulent Experience with Justdial – Complete Scam, Zero Genuine Leads in a Year!
I took the paid listing in Justdial a year back expecting authentic business leads. Oh, what a BIG MISTAKE THAT PROVED TO BE.
The entire year I have been receiving over 200 "business leads," but nothing but absolute fake leads: just fake mobile numbers, incorrect business names, Spam inquiries.
Their "3rd class service" is nothing short of SCAMMING; they advertise quality business leads but peddle absolute rubbish in order to milk desperate small business operations.
While I repeatedly contacted their customer service with complaints regarding the zero ROI and their brazen reply was “We will give leads only if we receive good call flow.”
Well, they openly admit that they do not have call flow but continue to sell heavily anyway?!
I made official complaints to them through calls around 5-6 times, attaching screenshots of my sample leads, but they simply refuted my claims and said “We don’t have call flow”.
Avoid this bogus company – it’s an utter waste of your hard-earned cash and time too!
My experience was very disappointing! They accepted payment for four months but did not fulfill their commitments. There were no leads, no customer support, and no solutions provided. It feels like they are just taking advantage of customers. Highly unprofessional and lacking integrity. I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone. Please avoid wasting your hard-earned money and time on such a fraudulent company.
