I recently had an extremely distressing experience with PostNL’s “Extra Home Service”, after purchasing furniture from JYSK.Despite paying extra for a service that should ensure safe delivery inside my home, the courier: • Dropped my package and left it outside in the rain, • Later returned claiming he forgot the delivery paper, • Entered my home without permission, • Became physically aggressive when asked to leave.The situation escalated until a property worker intervened and removed him from the building. Even then, the courier continued shouting and threatening me outside. Everything was caught on security cameras, and I have filed a police report and shared the evidence with PostNL.To make things worse, several items from JYSK arrived damaged, and no support or compensation was offered despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue.This was not only unprofessional — it was dangerous.No customer should ever feel unsafe in their own home because of a delivery service.I’m sharing this publicly because customer safety and accountability matter.Companies like PostNL and JYSK must take such incidents seriously to ensure this never happens again.
