Warranty service seems to be merely for show. I contacted customer care to log a complaint regarding the appliance. Shortly after, a person claiming to represent the support team called me. We discussed the issue and the quoted cost was around 10,000.00. During our negotiation, I was taken aback when they offered a 30% discount, but with the condition that the warranty on parts would only be 6 months instead of the usual 2 years. Is this standard practice to lower prices at the expense of warranty? This situation warrants serious scrutiny.
