Kaplan Learning material closely matched the exam I completed for Georgia Licensure. The instructors were extremely helpful with the process. Tanya Tilton who taught the Georgia Learn course used actual examples of documents we will eventually use in the field and also explained the purpose of the documents and importance.
I would not recommend Kaplan’s real estate pre-licensing course based on my experience. I failed the course final twice, which forced me to pay to retake the entire course — an extremely frustrating and costly process. The biggest issue was how drastically different the course final was from the practice materials. The practice final and course exercises did not reflect the question types, structure, or wording of the actual course final. It felt like I was being tested on an entirely different curriculum.Ironically, after finally passing Kaplan’s course final, I went on to pass both the state and national portions of my NC licensing exam on the first attempt...WITH FLYING COLORS. That alone says a lot. The real licensing exams were far more straightforward and clearly written than Kaplan’s internal exam.A course final should prepare students for the licensing exam, not serve as a confusing barrier that forces you to pay to retake the course. Kaplan needs to do a much better job aligning their materials with their assessments — and the real-world exams they’re supposed to be preparing students for.
I had an excellent experience with Kaplan while preparing for the real estate brokerage exam. The instructors at both the state and national levels were knowledgeable, engaging, and dedicated to ensuring student success.I highly recommend Kaplan’s live classes to anyone preparing for the exam. They not only reinforce the coursework but also provide valuable strategies, insights, and exam-focused tips. Without them, it would have been much more challenging to feel fully prepared. Thanks to Kaplan and its outstanding instructors, I went into the exam with confidence and achieved success on my first try.
I had a concern with accessing the 14hr exam online, and America Cruz's customer service was phenomenal. Rarely seen today, she made the process extremely easy and was so pleasant and very patient during the process. Nice to receive good old fashion Excellent Customer Service.
Employees at the state of Florida, were told core law from the brokers course, was not to be used for other licenses with the same student. Yes, I reviewed core law as a broker, but I know nothing of core law with my other license (renewal)...Megan and Hanna, (at Hogue school) went out of their way to get it straightened out AND then even followed up to assure I was good for another 2 years. I def had a hard time navigating the LMS. I would have appreciated [something like] "what's Next" to point to a HELP that would ENFORCE the Material I just completed. After I completed the ENTIRE 60 hrs - 24 Modules & the 15 hrs of Video \ Case Studies (which I also kinda found ACCIDENTLY), I STUMBLED on the Pre-Recorded Sessions, the Recorded Vocab Audio, the Practice Tests .. WOW. It seems the SECTION Descriptions did not provide (for me) a Clear Enough Explanation of what was behind them. AND SOME things Under SOME Section TITLES seemed out of Place. Like a Certain Group of them should have been GROUPED together under a Completely Different Section Title.Maybe: Make Each Section A Different Color, NUMBER Corresponding Course Work with Corresponding Reviews. The Black and White and Lengthy Scroll (for me) causes a little confusion and is Probably why I missed so much other Available Information. OR make a 2 Views ... (this one) 1 black and white - Lineal & Static & 1 with adding color coordination & point to REVIEW MATERIAL.Under Each BOLDED SECTION HEADLINES - A smaller font with a Description of Each thing THING in that SECTION & a short description of it's purpose or content.
Charles Lee, although we didn't get thru all the slides I'm happy with the way class went. He took the time to really breakdown the material so that it made sense. Really, really look forward to my next class with him. He wasn't just reading slides and rushing through them I've felt like other teachers do. Wish his class was a little longer to be honest. Thank you so much Charles for really inspiring and making me more confident in this whole process.
