I placed an order with Karen Millen a couple of months ago and returned a number of items. I didn't consciously request a refund by gift voucher but somehow that was what I received. I can only assume they have changed their default refund to gift vouchers and buyers have to change it. I contacted them immediately and advised this wasn't the method I would like. They rejected my request and I was stuck with the voucher which came with an expiry date. A month later I purchased more items using the vouchers value and paid the rest on my card. I returned one item and made sure I ticked original payment method. But another voucher arrived despite me using the whole amount and it retained the original expiry date. I then tried to use the voucher but couldn't as it was requesting a PIN number that hadn't been supplied. At this stage I raised a formal complaint, and the response was defensive, and extremely un helpful, and still no PIN number. I have used this company for decades especially when it used to be a quality retailer, now it is a cheap company with cheap customer service. Just don't waste your money!!
