Love Katkin and the whole idea. I was desperately trying to find a more premium cat food for my senior cat. He was usually fed on a mixture of Gourmet Mon Petites and Purina One dry food. I noticed he mostly ate the dry food and preferred to lick the sauce of the wet food. I wanted to get him onto a soft food diet, as he is going to have dental next month, with teeth being extracted. I am struggling to feed my cat on Katkin only, I believe it is due to the lack of sauce/ gravy, which I understand is probably unhealthy, and why it’s not provided. It’s been nearly a month now, and I still feel like he is still unsure. When I first put the bowl down, he walks away, which is not like him for his meal times, then he goes back to it later, when he realises he’s not getting anything else. Overall, I think Katkin is great, I am just not 100% sure if it’s for my cat. I am going to try preserve some more, as he needs a soft food diet for his dental procedure and the texture is perfect! I think I have tried every other form of wet cat food there is, and this one is the most success so far! Trust me to have the pickiest cat! 😂
