Love Katkin and the whole idea. I was desperately trying to find a more premium cat food for my senior cat. He was usually fed on a mixture of Gourmet Mon Petites and Purina One dry food. I noticed he mostly ate the dry food and preferred to lick the sauce of the wet food. I wanted to get him onto a soft food diet, as he is going to have dental next month, with teeth being extracted. I am struggling to feed my cat on Katkin only, I believe it is due to the lack of sauce/ gravy, which I understand is probably unhealthy, and why it’s not provided. It’s been nearly a month now, and I still feel like he is still unsure. When I first put the bowl down, he walks away, which is not like him for his meal times, then he goes back to it later, when he realises he’s not getting anything else. Overall, I think Katkin is great, I am just not 100% sure if it’s for my cat. I am going to try preserve some more, as he needs a soft food diet for his dental procedure and the texture is perfect! I think I have tried every other form of wet cat food there is, and this one is the most success so far! Trust me to have the pickiest cat! 😂
My cat is very fussy and l tried everything but l was ending everyday throwing food in the bin. Katkin advertise was coming on my social media everyday but l was sceptical as my cut is very fussy then one day l deside to give a try. From the first day my cat accepted the new food and that was a surprise to me, after 3-4 days l saw a difference on his fur, has been more soft like a bunny and more desire to play and jump. His breath doesn't stink any more and the litter last longer. Since started Katkin never throw food in the bin. I think this is the best decision l made so far.
I’m very disappointed with my experience with KatKin.
I signed up because it was advertised that you can cancel at any time, and the help pages clearly explain where and how to cancel. However, when I followed those instructions exactly, and there was no cancellation option anywhere. I’m using desktop, not mobile, and I checked thoroughly.
After the initial discount ended, the price jumped to nearly £80, which I cannot afford. I feel very upset because I would never have signed up if I’d known it would be this expensive or this difficult to cancel.
I also feel misled, as the service says cancelling is easy, but in my case it wasn’t possible through the website at all. I’ve had to email to request cancellation instead, which is stressful and frustrating.
Overall, this has been a negative and disappointing experience. The service is far too expensive for me, my cats weren’t keen on the food, and the lack of a clear cancellation option has left me feeling tricked and unhappy.
But to clerify My negative experience was just the canclastion and price. katkins food is good but in my case my cats were not that keen on it and kept wanting the other food they usually have instead. I even tried the suggestions but I guess it's just not for my cats. Also customer service repled fast and cancelled my subscription. I thanked them for doing that and Appriciated that.

hi I read your reply in trust piolet I appreciate your understanding and fast reply. if there is anything I can help with I would be happy to help. Also what I am doing now is I'm trying another cat food service as a trial and after that I might even give katkins another try as the customer support team have been so helpful but in my second try i will try and see if there is any lower price options for a lower budget. also if I'm happy with my second try I would be happy to change my trust piolet review to positive as well. thanks again hope to hear back soon. I will try katkins again probably next month after my current trial of untamed has finished. Will have to make aa new account though as I think my current one is deleted but that's fine
Don’t usually believe hype but thought Katkin was worth a try as our cat is elderly (16) with hyper thyroid and possibly kidney issues. We were told she didn’t have long.
She was vomiting every day, that has stopped. She has gained weight. She is grooming again. She is happier.
It hasn’t solved all her problems but since swapping she is so much more like her old self. Whatever time she has left I’ll keep her on Katkin.
Katkin has changed my cats life.she's happier healthy looking, Her fur is shiny and soft im so pleased with the quality of the food delivered to me fresh and gorgeous. My cat licks the bowl clean every time ...Well done Katkin you've got mine and my cats vote ..precious is one happy girl xx
It is great quality food with fresh ingredients and a wide variety of flavours.
Its just that two out of our three cats are still very fussy and will suddenly go off a recipe.
But we have noticed absolutely no smelly litter tray which is such a plus and their coats feel so lush.
Amazing! It's hard not to get sucked into the hype and the marketing, which is great, but for a company to actually deliver what they promise I find to be quite rare. Katkin are producing healthy, balanced, appealing cat food. My cats took to it straight away, we've cut out any other food including hard food. The litter tray is cleaner and less of a challenge in the mornings! My older cat had put on a few pounds due to all the fillers in cheaper food, within 2 weeks of eating Katkin she had lost 0.3 kg and has more energy and playfulness. They are no longer begging throughout the day for food and see more satisfied and settled.
Most importantly the cats love it - less stinky poop and never any left in bowls. I had a follow up call from one of the team to see how they are transitioning from usual food, to offer tips, and change my plan to add some other flavours. I wish I could afford to feed all my rescues this food all the time!
The KatKin food has been such a success with my cat Tilly. She is satisfied beyond any food that we’ve tried over the years.
Her coat is beautiful and glossy and her general health has never been better.
Where she used to be constantly crying/begging for food she eats half a pack at a time and is satisfied and then grooms and sleeps.
