At the beginning of September, I signed up with Lifefunds because they advertised an opportunity to earn steady income by making transfers to a designated beneficiary. They claimed the transfers were meant to support YouTubers in increasing their online visibility. Since some participants reported receiving commissions, it seemed legitimate at first.
I completed an initial transfer and saw a commission credited. After that, I sent €499 and was instructed to “validate” the transaction with an additional transfer of €1,540 in order to unlock the profits. According to them, the total return from these transactions would exceed €2,800.
Once I sent the €1,540 validation payment, a supposed system error appeared. I was then told that to recover all my funds and commissions, I needed to make yet another transfer of €1,540. Altogether, I had committed more than €5,100 just to retrieve my own money.
The final transfer was successfully processed, and I have official bank confirmation that the funds reached the recipient. However, Lifefunds claims the payment was never received. The so-called “task professor” only replies with scripted messages such as “Please check with your bank.” There is no phone support or real customer service.
At this point, I have over €5,000 in losses and no clear resolution, despite their promise that “your money will never be lost and will be fully reimbursed with commissions in case of any issue.”
Fortunately, thanks to 𝙛𝕦𝚓𝙚O, I was able to recover my losses, and I am very grateful for their assistance.
