Defective product, no refund or exchange

I received a bike with a manufacturing defect. They claimed it was due to the box being dropped, but there was no damage to the box or the bike; the parts simply don't fit because of a manufacturing error. They refuse to reimburse or exchange it, so I might need legal assistance. This has made for a very disappointing holiday for my child. I advise against purchasing from this company, as their customer service seems focused on making excuses rather than helping customers.
