Poor quality product

My grandson received a bike for his birthday in late April, and by early June, the chain had broken three times. The front and back shifters also broke, and a tooth of the sprocket came off. They refuse to support their product without a receipt, which is impossible to obtain. I've contacted customer service through live chat and phone but received no satisfaction. Extremely disappointing.
