We moved with Kent from Australia to New Zealand. Sales and pick up team were great. After that, the lack of communication was scarce, they ask you multiple times to fill in forms which you have already done. We had paid extra to have our concrete dining room table crated. This wasn't done then subsequently was damaged in transit. Then because the way they have their insurance policy set out, of the $2000 we had it insured for we were only paid out $282 because I wrote "Dining table & 6 Chairs" on the form - the insurance sees this as a "pair" and divided the total by how many items. No where near covering the damage. Considering if it was crated the damaged wouldn't have happened I ask if there was anything more that could be done and was sent a generic copy and pasted reply saying no. I understand that this was my error but given the damaged would have 100% not happen if the item was crated I would have liked a bit more empathy other than refunding the price of the crating. So beware when filling in the insurance and itemise out your pairs so if anything is to happen you can get the right amount to pay for damage.
