My move was from Darwin to Canberra and I was informed that it will take 3 weeks from uplift and that was a major reason why I went with Kent when other companies informed me that it would take 4 weeks. My uplift was 24 July and I received my container on 1 September. I was told arrival of 16 August. I received no correspondence over this period and I would call every 2-3 days for communication and send emails. I would always have someone say they would call me back and they are not sure where the container is. Towards the end of August I called again and someone told me that it has arrived in Canberra and they would call me back to arrange delivery however no call back. I called again in 2 days and was told by someone else that the container has arrived in Melbourne and delivery is scheduled for 5 September and once I told them how long I have been waiting and the miscommunication, they told me they will fast-track the delivery to the 1st of September and offer me a payment of $200 for my inconvenience. Once the delivery was completed, there was damage to numerous furniture items and missing a box of personal items. Company is unprofessional and no communication throughout the process. I regret going with Kent and advise people to find alternative options as this company does not deliver what they promise.
