The fruit and veg is so fresh, seasonal and varied; we never get bored or find it too much to consume. The price is excellent too! We've been buying for a few weeks now, and look foreard to recieveing our next fruit & veg box. Highly reccomended.
I'm really pleased with the quality and quantity of produce. The variety is limited but that's understandable given the season I guess. I did state my preferences for not getting brussel sprouts but I still received twice again. I also like the newsletters with updates on what's happening with the harvest
Wow these guys are great. The fruit and veg is so very very tasty and fresh - last week for example - the pears, delicious beautiful Kale, amazing salad, and I roasted some beetroot and I think it was the best I had ever tasted. The meat is excellent and sold in proper butcher’s cuts, love the beef shin. Plus is the local fresh fish so tasty - sprats done whitebait style lasted moments in this house. The bread is also brilliant from both suppliers - big fan of the fabulous local sourdough - getting bread to people fresh is a tough one - first time it’s worked will in my experience of veg box schemes, well done!! All that plus super super low food miles and friendly humans who help straight away if something is up (which is very rarely). I’ve used a national veg box scheme since 2002 and I am so pleased to mix it up and go hyper local!! Worth every penny. Thank you!
Just love my box arriving, it’s like a surprise present every time. Never quite knowing what’s in it encourages me to be more adventurous. The monthly fish box is a treat too. Love being able to buy ‘local’ and this is one of many ways I can buy more sustainably and contribute to a healthier world for my children and grandchildren.
Love this company and the veg box service. Great selection of food (not just veg!), I like that it's all come from nearby and is seasonal. Great, friendly customer service, they are very flexible and helpful. Always enjoy reading Steve's emails!
I get a small box once a fortnight and if I eat my way through it before the next box lands on my doorstep, it's an easy way to eat a healthy diet. The veg can be muddy and knobbly, so it's not for those who like things scrubbed and perfect, but it's fresh and tasty.
We have been having a Kent Veg Box for a few years now. We have tried seasonal vegetables that we would probably never have bought in a supermarket and we’ve become more adventurous with the recipes we’ve tried. The veg always tastes so good, it’s fresh and good value. Customer service is excellent, they are so helpful and respond to emails quickly. A great way to reduce food miles and support local growers.
