The offer appeared clear and attractive, so I proceeded to purchase it via their website: my.ketogo.appAfter making the payment and receiving a confirmation email, I attempted to access the promised meal plan via the provided link – only to discover that no personalised menu was available, despite what was clearly stated in the offer.In trying to navigate the platform further in search of the meal plan, I clicked on another button within the site. This action – without any clear warning or consent request – triggered additional unauthorised charges from my bank account:109 RON/month (~£18) for a so-called Premium Service119 RON/month (~£20) for a Shopping List SubscriptionIn total, instead of the advertised one-time payment of 119 RON, I was charged 347 RON (~£58) – without any transparent notice or explicit agreement.This is a clear case of misleading advertising and deceptive digital practices. Upon further investigation, I discovered that many other consumers have experienced the exact same issue, as seen in numerous negative reviews on Trustpilot and similar platforms.It is alarming that such campaigns are allowed to run freely on platforms like Facebook, especially when they involve withdrawing money from users without proper consent. I believe this deserves urgent attention and public exposure to prevent others from falling into the same trap.I respectfully urge UK consumer authorities and the press to:Investigate KetoGo’s practices within the UK and internationally;Take action against deceptive subscription tactics;Raise awareness among consumers regarding these hidden charges and abusive billing practices.
