I cancelled my KetoGo subscription on 9 January, both through PayPal and within the KetoGo app, where I completed the cancellation survey explaining why I was leaving. I did not receive an email confirmation at the time, but the completed survey and PayPal cancellation clearly indicated the subscription had ended.
Despite this, my card was charged on 19 January.
It was only after I contacted KetoGo to complain about the charge that I finally received an email confirming my cancellation. However, they refused to refund the payment taken after the cancellation date.
Since then, all further communication has consisted of automated messages about delayed response times, with no meaningful attempt to resolve the issue. More than two weeks have passed without a refund or proper support.
Being charged after cancelling, then having the cancellation confirmed only after the fact while still refusing a refund, is unacceptable. I am now forced to pursue a chargeback through my card issuer.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend KetoGo. The THOUSANDS of other negative reviews cannot be wrong. This is a scam.
