Very disappointing experience.
The app is not transparent about its subscription terms. A family member believed they were purchasing a one-month plan, but it turned out to be an automatically renewing subscription that was not clearly communicated.
Even worse, while trying to find how to cancel, a Premium upgrade offer appeared. Simply tapping to view more details immediately activated the upgrade and charged the card without any clear confirmation step. This feels misleading and unfair from a user perspective.
The cancellation process is also unnecessarily difficult to find, which makes the whole experience frustrating.
Overall, the app’s billing practices feel unclear and not user-friendly. I would strongly recommend being very careful before entering payment details

I cancelled my KetoGo subscription on 9 January, both through PayPal and within the KetoGo app, where I completed the cancellation survey explaining why I was leaving. I did not receive an email confirmation at the time, but the completed survey and PayPal cancellation clearly indicated the subscription had ended.

Despite this, my card was charged on 19 January.

It was only after I contacted KetoGo to complain about the charge that I finally received an email confirming my cancellation. However, they refused to refund the payment taken after the cancellation date.

Since then, all further communication has consisted of automated messages about delayed response times, with no meaningful attempt to resolve the issue. More than two weeks have passed without a refund or proper support.

Being charged after cancelling, then having the cancellation confirmed only after the fact while still refusing a refund, is unacceptable. I am now forced to pursue a chargeback through my card issuer.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend KetoGo. The THOUSANDS of other negative reviews cannot be wrong. This is a scam.

Intransparent entrapment systems, you select one thing and have to confirm 17 times that no, you do not want this other thing before getting through. Anyhow, I thought I was long unsubscribed and was surprised to have a PayPal notification regarding an upcoming payment. I immediately contacted them and received a message that I have to cancel from the website. My follow up : "After selecting the deactivation of my account several times through your deceiving menu (deactivation appearing in light gray as opposed to the prominent and visible continue options) I have not yet received a cancellation confirmation. This is looking more and more like a fraud.

Proceed to deactivate any subscriptions I may still have and delete my system data."

It took another three rounds of emails to have my cancellation (no refund though) and getting them to commit to deleting my data.

The interaction felt like dealing with artificial intelligence - having to repeat prompts and them not addressing my actual request.

Misleading package details and unauthorized charges

In June 2025, I enrolled in an $18 discounted package, but it was not made clear that this offer only covered one day. I soon discovered that I needed to pay extra for a complete weekly menu, prompting me to cancel immediately. Despite my cancellation, in January 2026, there was an attempt to charge my card $66, which my credit card company flagged as potential fraud. After researching the company, I came across multiple complaints regarding unauthorized charges, aligning with my own experience. This business lacks trustworthiness. I recommend steering clear of this service.

Extremely unsatisfactory experience - I won't be recommending this service and I should have checked the ratings beforehand. The marketing is misleading and takes advantage of negative body image. There is a lack of transparency regarding costs and the cancellation process is almost absurd, particularly with the faint links that are difficult to notice. Truly disappointing. 0/5 ⭐️

Be cautious with this app! I signed up for a one-week trial 'Nutrition plan' for €7, but suddenly €20.95 was charged for a Premium program that appeared in my profile! Shortly after, €24.95 was also deducted from my account! I've contacted the support team, so let's see if they issue a refund or if it's just automated responses. My bank even reached out to block my card due to these unusual charges. Good luck!

Exercise caution with this app! I recently signed up for a one-week trial 'Nutrition plan' for €7. Unexpectedly, €20.95 was charged for a Premium program that appeared in my profile. Shortly after, another €24.95 was deducted from my account! I've contacted the support team, so I hope they will refund my money; otherwise, I fear it will just be automated responses. My bank also reached out to block my card due to these suspicious transactions. Good luck!

Very difficult to unsubscribe

I joined a special subscription for 3 or 6 months and accidentally selected premium, not realizing there was a cost. I canceled that a month later, then canceled the original subscription. Be cautious and ensure you contact the support team to confirm your cancellation, as they do not refund for their mistakes.
