Initially I was kept waiting while young lady checked availability. Then she told me that only an after-market product is available at a cost of £318. Having reluctantly agreed I was informed they had none in stock and would have to order in. Therefore I could not have a fitting date but I still had to pay in full upfront ! I suggested I'd cover the cost of the blank and pay the fitter when the job is done - as with any call out - but this was refused.Maybe it's just me but this smacks of grandiose presumption that punters would voluntarily pays 100% upfront for an inferior product that they do not have in stock and that is to be fitted at a date they can't give - just because its the AA. With whom nothing can ever go wrong ?
