if i could rate below 0 star i would. i booked for a full replacement of a key at 5pm and rang them by 11am the next day to get a refund they initially claimed they would return £118 of my order of £456 and when i challenged that they said id get a full refund they claimed they would need to listen back to the conversation. This is so dishonest. it took them about an hour before they eventually rang and said they would charge £50 and offdmered an option to get a replica made for £321. i offcourse asked for a full refund which is now going to take 21 days. The £50 is over and above a 10-15% admin and im considering contacting financial ombudsman as surely this is daylight robbery!

I ordered and paid in full £252 for an aftermarket key replacement for my van. I was booked in for a weeks time and received a text message on the last day(day of fitting) from the AA to ring them. I rung them up and the woman said they can only make keys up to 2020 even though my van is a 2020. Last minute they tell me that they can't do it. And my refund is going to take up to 3 weeks! What a shocking experience! Shame on you AA!!! Not impressed and won't be recommending you to anyone!
21 days to refund on a service they did not provide. AA you are a disgrace!!!!How can they tell me that bank transfers take 21 days when it left my account instantly.Please explain.....Use a local service,cheaper and not a rip off!!!!!
Initially I was kept waiting while young lady checked availability. Then she told me that only an after-market product is available at a cost of £318. Having reluctantly agreed I was informed they had none in stock and would have to order in. Therefore I could not have a fitting date but I still had to pay in full upfront ! I suggested I'd cover the cost of the blank and pay the fitter when the job is done - as with any call out - but this was refused.Maybe it's just me but this smacks of grandiose presumption that punters would voluntarily pays 100% upfront for an inferior product that they do not have in stock and that is to be fitted at a date they can't give - just because its the AA. With whom nothing can ever go wrong ?
