On Oct 23 I placed my first order to try Kin Euphorics adaptogen + nootropic drinks. During checkout I noticed they had a subscription option and upon reviewing the subscription terms on the order page I went ahead with purchase. Upon arrival - Oct 25 the drinks tasted poorly, so I reached out to customer support asking to process a cancellation on future orders. Their CS team refused to cancel my subscription even though I provided their terms and noted I had abided by their cancellation policy. However, they had no interest in resolving, refusing to cancel any future orders. This is unethical, illegal and frankly exploitive to customers to not denote a 3 month subscription requirement anywhere on the order page or cancellation policy. Please review attached policy. Per automatic renewal laws, a B2C seller must offer clear and conspicuous notice of offer terms including offer terms displayed in stark contrast to the surrounding text in the contract. An opt-in mechanism for the consumer to affirmatively consent to the automatic renewal clause must be presented before the consumer is initially charged for the services. After the consumer has provided affirmative consent, the consumer should receive a post-sale acknowledgment that contains the material terms of the automatic renewal offer in a digestible format. Kin Euphorics is in violation of ARL federal requirements. I highly recommend not supporting Kin Euphorics and purchasing elsewhere.
