We have a number of wonderful furniture items from King that we absolutely love. Over Christmas, however, with many people visiting the house, we were surprised that one of our 1.5 yr old swivel Seymour chairs (the favourite living room seats) developed a creaking noise! We reported the issue to King and were pleased they could send a service man within a week to our home on Bowen Island. The repair 'fix' amounted to simply tightening 5 bolts with an Allen key- something we can do in future if necessary. The informative service call demonstrated to us not only the quality of the furniture design (nothing had actually broken, just loosened with plenty of use) but also the company's commitment to customer service and product satisfaction.
