We bought two Lyon beds and natural latex mattresses. The bed frame is very attractive, of lovely solid wood and well constructed with one exception. The holes for the screw that goes through the two pieces of the frame make up the first corner are slightly imperfectly aligned, making it quite difficult to assemble at the beginning. Was the same on both beds so it's probably the way the machining is set rather than a fluke. Once the first corner goes together the rest is fine. Two other small issues could be improved. The instructions are poor: a series of diagrams that don't show you have to use an allen key, and several pieces of the frame labelled "right" even when they are diagonal from one another. Also the wooden slats are quite roughly finished. We trimmed ragged wood shavings off many of them. These are details though. Once assembled the bed is beautiful, sturdy, and just as described. Would definitely recommend.And the mattress! Amazing. It's firm and supportive yet also soft and cushiony. I've never slept on another like it and it's by far the best I've experienced. Absolutely worth every cent.
