I began the right to choose process for an autism diagnosis in mid-2025, expecting it to take 8-10 weeks. However, my first contact came in September for documentation, which I completed within two weeks. Now, I'm pushed back to January 2026 with minimal updates—just a monthly email stating ‘very soon’ whenever I reached out. After a brief phone call in December with a promise of further contact, nearly a month has passed without any follow-up or responses to my emails. This has been quite stressful, with poor communication and significant delays. I can't comment on the quality of care since I'm still waiting for a date.
