I began the process for an autism diagnosis in July/August 2025, and was told it would take 8-10 weeks to complete. My first contact didn’t happen until September when I filled out the necessary documentation within two weeks. Now, I've been pushed to January 2026, receiving sporadic updates only when I reach out for information. In mid-December, I had a brief phone call with two follow-up questions, and I was promised a callback within a few days to a week for the next steps. Nearly a month has passed with no contact or responses to my emails. This experience has been very stressful with poor communication and significant delays. I can't comment on the quality of care since I'm still waiting for a date after 5-6 months.
I began the right to choose process for an autism diagnosis in mid-2025, expecting it to take 8-10 weeks. However, my first contact came in September for documentation, which I completed within two weeks. Now, I'm pushed back to January 2026 with minimal updates—just a monthly email stating ‘very soon’ whenever I reached out. After a brief phone call in December with a promise of further contact, nearly a month has passed without any follow-up or responses to my emails. This has been quite stressful, with poor communication and significant delays. I can't comment on the quality of care since I'm still waiting for a date.
The team provided exceptional care and showed great passion for their work. They were adept at keeping my two daughters engaged and participating. We had two assessments—one in late September and another in late November, both resulting in diagnoses. The entire process, from referral to diagnosis, was impressively quick. I highly recommend their services to everyone.
My daughter was advised to seek an autism diagnosis through adult services following a lengthy ADHD diagnosis. She reached out to our GP at the end of June, and just four months later, the process was complete. We chose this service for their short waiting times, and they certainly delivered a prompt and professional experience. I would recommend them without hesitation.
My child was referred under the right to choose, and while I was initially pleased with their communication, it sadly declined. I found myself repeatedly following up, only to hear that the school hadn't returned the questionnaire, which stalled the booking. They were not very understanding about the situation. It feels like we’ve been penalized due to either a failure on their part to send the questionnaire or the school's slow response. Seeing them advertise a Black Friday discount after halting the right to choose feels insensitive, given many parents are struggling to get assessments for their children. If the right to choose reopens, I will update this review based on our future experiences, but for now, I am quite unhappy with their approach.
My son underwent an autism assessment through the right to choose pathway, and I felt compelled to share our experience. The entire process was greatly facilitated by the excellent communication, professionalism, and kindness of the staff we encountered. We now have a diagnosis, and we are incredibly thankful that this journey was supported by such a caring team.
I am immensely grateful to the team for their compassion and understanding during my daughter's autism assessment. The process is emotionally taxing for parents, but I felt comfortable and supported throughout, with no judgment. My daughter, who typically struggles with strangers, was at ease, and the service was both efficient and professional, yet warm. I wholeheartedly recommend them.
I cannot recommend this service enough. They were fantastic from start to finish—professional and friendly. I sought help for my daughter, who masks her symptoms well. After feeling unheard by others, this team listened to my concerns and provided the support needed. My daughter was initially nervous for her assessment, but the staff made her feel comfortable right away. I received a thorough call regarding her diagnosis and am just waiting for the final report. The entire process took only nine weeks, with prompt responses to all my inquiries. If I could give more stars, I would.
This service attempted to report my review for containing illegal content, showcasing their self-serving nature and lack of genuine concern for others' health. They deemed my case 'too complex' and suggested my GP refer me back to the NHS, resulting in a 5-7 year wait. Given that this was my last chance for help, I feel hopeless about the future. Their claims of being a family business do not translate into genuine care, as they seem focused only on those they deem 'worthy' or 'profitable.'
I had a neurodiversity-affirming adult autism assessment through the right to choose process. The experience was supportive and focused on affirming differences rather than highlighting problems. The wait for all assessment stages was short, and the clinicians were both lovely and highly skilled. I would definitely recommend this service.
