I just purchased a KitchenAid classic mixer for £349.
I do a lot of baking and a week into ownership I am starting to think these mixers are mostly purchased by posh central London mum's who have never even had flour in their mixer. But instead buy them as colour coded kitchen accessories.
The mixer is ok. Noisy..over priced. Poorly constructed. Reading the reviews I'll stick with it as spares and adjustments are easily sorted. I imagine the warranty isn't worth the email it's written on. Either way my mixer will certainly get a workout. eBay is awash with them. The only reason I bought new was the warranty and judging by other reviews that looks worthless now.
