Don't waste your time! Saw Kollect advertise that they do rubbish removal. "Cheaper Than a Skip" is what they say. Don't be fooled! Per their process, I sent them a photo of the rubbish I needed removed by a certain day. Got a phone call almost immediately saying they could do the job for €180. Thought it was steep but agreed as was under time pressure. Paid €50 over the phone. Remainder to be paid on the day. They gave a 6 hour arrival window so I changed plans and waited for the 6 hours. 1.5hrs past the arrival window the van arrived. The man took a quick look at the pile which was unchanged since photo was sent. He promptly told me the job will be €220. €40 above the agreed cost. A small skip would cost less! I called Customer Service and spoke with Erica, who I believe is the Customer Service Manager. Erica concurred that the cost shouldn't have gone up and the rubbish should be removed at the agreed price. However when Erica called the driver, he refused to return for the rubbish! What a joke!
