I feel compelled to share my experience to caution others about dealing with this company. We encountered significant issues with their sales approach and overall integrity. We were rushed into making a purchase due to a "sale ending in 10 minutes" countdown on their site. Before finalizing the order, we asked their chatbot about any airline restrictions, and it clearly stated there were "no known restrictions with any airlines." Based on this misleading information, we made the purchase. However, we later confirmed with our airline that the product was actually prohibited. Upon reviewing the company's website, we found our airline listed among their "known restrictions," indicating that the chatbot provided false information to secure the sale. When we reached out for a refund due to this misleading advice, they refused, citing a "no refunds/store credit only" policy, despite the error being theirs. We had to escalate the issue to an ombudsman, who instructed the company to issue a refund for the misleading conduct. Even after this, they didn't refund the postage and packaging costs, which is unacceptable given that the purchase was made based on incorrect information. Additionally, we noticed the same "countdown timer" displayed again for the item, suggesting that the "urgent sale" was just a tactic to pressure parents into buying. Very disappointing experience overall.
