I had a very poor experience at the Kwik Fit Camberley branch.
I visited yesterday for a puncture repair on my rear right tyre. One of the staff members inspected the tyre and told me there was a nail in it and that the tyre could not be repaired. I was advised that a full tyre replacement was required. Trusting their expertise, I agreed and even booked an appointment for the next day (14/05/2026) to replace the tyre.
However, once I got home, I decided to get a second opinion. I went to another Kwik Fit branch this evening without mentioning my previous visit. The staff there checked the tyre, removed the nail, and repaired the puncture within 15 minutes. They also confirmed that the tyre is still in good condition with around 5mm tread remaining.
This experience is extremely concerning. Two branches of the same company gave completely different assessments — one pushing for an unnecessary replacement, while the other carried out a simple repair.
This raises serious questions about the honesty and professionalism of the Camberley branch. It felt either like a lack of proper knowledge, unwillingness to do the job, or worse — an attempt to upsell unnecessarily.
I strongly urge the Camberley team to improve their training and customer ethics. Please do not mislead customers. Not everyone can afford unnecessary expenses, and trust like this is very easy to lose.
Very disappointing experience. I will not be returning to this branch.
