Back again to highlight Ladbrokes SHARKS!
So today I used a £1 FREE bet through cashing in ONE THOUSAND poxy Ladbucks.
I wanged a freed £1 bet on a 4-1 greyhound that I felt couldn’t win…it didn’t so £4 to play with …I spotted two horses that looked overpriced (different races) so backed them both in a £2 EW double and they both won at decent prices the bet paid £184.04 (I do this quite often so no biggie) BUT when I went to withdraw I get this pathetic security message basically saying I have to withdraw to the account I deposited to 🤷♂️…it was a FREE fckn bet! Then after an hour with their chat bot and bloke from Calcutta (two actually and 1.5hrs of my life wasted) they said it’s ok it’s fixed …it wasn’t so more messing about. What I actually want to highlight here is their excuse for blocking the withdrawal: They have the audacity to say it’s a security measure in case we are getting scammed so they want us to withdraw to multiple bank accounts hence making our potential loss less (no issue at all depositing) even though I run my own security that is likely way more robust than Ladbrokes given the myriad of outages they can’t seem to avoid with their piss poor app! So they are now keeping OUR winnings SAFE within the app but don’t panic because you can still use your OWN money to gamble whilst it’s “safe” in your gambling account 🤦♂️…you see what I mean about these evil bastards! This post is definitely not about what is a small amount of money! It’s about what Ladbrokes considers a loss to them and the lengths they will go to not to lose.
