I received an email asking where I got the code from, and I explained that I didn’t realize it was a trade discount. They canceled my sale but offered me a 20% discount as a gesture of goodwill. I thought it was fair, so I decided to buy them anyway. However, further emails made it seem like I did something wrong by using an app that revealed the code, when in reality, it was leaked by someone else.
