Appreciate the ability to order directly from manufacturer. There aren’t a lot of wide mtb shoe options - very happy with my purchase. Filtering options when browsing could use some improvements.
Brilliant to see a shoe manufacturer not only offering a variety of fittings but also to provide measurements for each type. Finding the right fit was easy, and once on my feet they feel perfect - most comfortable cycling shoes I’ve ever had.
I only have two problems: no styles are available in all the different fittings (so you might be limited for choice if you only fit a certain shape). And as with every other bike shoe brand, there’s no way to try them with cleats, which is the only way to know if they fit well.
I was getting a bike fit (out of a garage of a local fitter) and mentioned my shoe challenges and wide feet (3-EEE). He let me try on his Lake shoes MX-242’s size -46, as well as his daughters -44 and I immediately ordered a 45. Best fitting shoe for me due to wide feet. The fit was so comfy it just felt natural. I also ordered a pair of socks and they are quite nice, fabric that breathes! I had been using Sidi Megas but these for me are more geared towards real foot fit and comfort IMHO.
I tried every gravel, mountain, and cross-country shoe available and tested them all at home. The model I chose provided the best fit and conformed perfectly to my foot. I strongly recommend starting with this brand; feel free to try several options, but this was my best choice. The stiff carbon sole was exactly what I needed, eliminating any foot pain or discomfort!
You can change bikes, handlebars, saddles, but I believe the shoe is the most crucial link between the rider and the bike. Many brands offer wide options, but this brand goes much further than just expanding the fit. Their wide offerings are incredibly comfortable, and their staff assists in finding the right shoe for your riding needs. The model I chose was a standout for me. Absolutely love it!
I received excellent online guidance for shoe selection and ended up with perfectly wide road shoes that fit like a dream! I wish I had purchased these years ago instead of enduring narrow standard bike shoes! I will definitely return for wide-width gravel shoes next.
The shoes are just okay - a bit heavy, but the fit is acceptable. I hoped they would be better than my previous shoes for my condition, but they aren’t. They do allow enough room for metatarsal pads, so I’ll give that a try. The Boa on the left side works in reverse, which is unusual.
I am absolutely thrilled with my new shoes! 🤩 I followed the size guide (went up one size), and the fit is perfect, honestly feels like wearing slippers. They are lightweight, easy to walk in, and the performance is outstanding. The difference is substantial; I’d argue they make an even bigger impact than upgrading to carbon wheels! You feel firmly planted, and when you push down, something amazing happens. Brilliant!
