Quality cycling shoes! I wanted a more foot-shaped cycling shoe to allow more room in the forefoot and to allow my toes to spread more naturally. The CX 201 seems to be that shoe for me. I don’t have wide feet but do have a high arch/high volume foot. I was concerned about the shoe being too wide and feeling floppy. Lake’s fit guidance and online tool helped my select a size and it was correct on the first try! Shoes fit great, don’t feel like my foot slips around at all - while also not feeling like they’re crammed into an unnatural position. So far the Lake CX 201 has met my needs and exceeded my expectations. I’ve probably spent 8-10 hours riding in the shoe and so far I’m impressed. I don’t expect to get any negative surprises with more miles.
